Muttley Mutt Coin

An experimental Solana token, built to find out how Solana actually works — then handed to the community. Everything on this page is verifiable on-chain.

How to actually
buy it

Jupiter only quotes MUTL intermittently, so this is the route that works every time.

  1. 1

    Get a Solana wallet

Phantom or Solflare. Fund it with SOL — you need a little extra for network fees, which run a fraction of a cent.

  2. 2

    Swap on Raydium

Paste the contract address into Raydium and swap SOL for MUTL. Jupiter treats the token as unverified and only quotes it intermittently — that is a listing policy, not a broken pool.

  3. 3

    Check price impact first

The pool is thin. Anything beyond a small buy moves the price against you, so read the impact figure before you confirm.

Straight Answers

The questions worth asking about any token — answered plainly, including the ones with awkward answers.

Can I buy MUTL right now?
Yes. MUTL trades against SOL in a Raydium pool, and buys settle normally through a wallet such as Phantom.

Two honest caveats. Liquidity is thin, so anything beyond a small amount will move the price against you — check the price impact before confirming. The swap widget on this page trades directly against that pool by default, so it works — but see the next answer about the optional Jupiter route.
Which route does the swap widget use?
Raydium, by default — it quotes and swaps straight against the MUTL/SOL pool, which is why it works. There is also an optional Jupiter route in the widget. Jupiter only returns a quote for MUTL some of the time: it classifies the token as unverified with a low organic score, and refuses a good share of requests.

That is an aggregator listing policy, not a defect in the pool and not a problem with your wallet. If the Jupiter route returns nothing, switch back to Raydium.
Then why does this site exist?
Because Muttley Mutt was an experiment, and this is what the experiment produced. KS Blockchain Investments needed to know whether Solana was a viable option for several other projects under consideration. Rather than find out inside a live system carrying real customers, we minted a token and built a full site around it — wallet connection, swap routing, on-chain data, the lot.

Once that question was answered, the token was handed over to the community as an open-source project for community development. The site stays online as a working reference rather than being quietly deleted.
How deep is the liquidity?
Thin. The MUTL/SOL pool on Raydium has been live since 2024 and still holds only a few thousand dollars of depth, with very little daily volume. Small buys go through with modest price impact; larger ones will not.

We would rather state that plainly than let anyone discover it in a confirmation dialog. More liquidity may be added at a later stage.
Can more tokens be minted, or my tokens frozen?
No to both. The mint authority is revoked, so the supply is permanently fixed at 993,687,595 MUTL and no more can ever be created. The freeze authority is revoked, so no one — including us — can freeze a holder’s tokens. Both are shown live in the Tokenomics section above, read straight from the chain.
How do I verify any of this myself?
Please do, and do not take our word for it. Every figure on this page is readable on-chain:

Solscan for the mint, supply and authorities · RugCheck for an independent risk assessment · Bubblemaps for holder clustering.
Who built it, and who runs it now?
Muttley Mutt was built by KS Blockchain Investments as an experimental crypto project, to establish whether the Solana blockchain was a viable option for several other projects under consideration.

It was then handed over to the community as an open-source project for community development. It is not a managed product with a team behind it, and there is no roadmap being delivered — what happens next is up to whoever picks it up.

The holder count, supply figures and authority status on this page are read live from the chain rather than typed in by hand, which was rather the point of the exercise.

Where It Gets Talked About

MUTL was handed over to the community as an open-source project. There is no team shipping a roadmap — these are simply the places it gets discussed.

Open Source

The token was handed to the community and the code is public. Read it, fork it, or build something on top of it.

No Promises

No roadmap, no scheduled giveaways, no team delivering features. What happens next is whatever the community decides to do with it.
